Bella is a faith-based nonprofit. We offer Ob-Gyn, Family Medicine, Pediatric and Functional Medicine healthcare services.
As an apostolate of the Catholic Church (i.e. affiliated but not funded by), Bella upholds the Church’s teachings on the dignity of life, as outlined in the Ethical and Religious Directives (ERDs) for health care by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
As a life-affirming practice, we do not terminate pregnancies, sterilize, offer in vitro fertilization, or prescribe artificial (or other barrier) birth control. Bella does remove IUDs. It’s important that any new staff member understand and uphold these protocols during patient care, as violations could result in immediate termination.
Bella is NOT a crisis pregnancy center. We ARE a life-affirming OB-GYN and Family Medicine group. As a natural consequence of this line of work, we inevitably care for many abortion-vulnerable and abortion-determined women. We see these patients as worthy of compassion and the utmost respect. Ours is a “two-person” healthcare mindset, with both patients’ needs valued and prioritized.
Having said that, our tone with patients is actually never one of “no’s.” We are a “yes” people. We love wowing our patients with advanced, new natural reproductive approaches, medicine steeped in evidence, backed by research, and in constant pursuit of “root cause.” We seek cures that work in cooperation with the body, and we revere the innate brilliance of the human design. We get excited - a lot!

Bella has three clinic locations. Our primary campus is in Englewood, Colorado. Roughly 80% of our work happens at 180 E. Hampden. We also offer care in Lafayette, Colorado, and Denver (East) - in cooperation with Marisol Health Services. Together, Bella and Marisol offer a full-continuum of medical and social service expertise. Providers and clinical staff will all rotate through our Marisol branches, with some staff assigned permanently. Administrative staff works solely out of Englewood.
Staff need not be Catholic to work at Bella; in fact, we welcome team members of many religious backgrounds. However, we do ask that all staff members joyfully embrace the organization’s mission and healthcare philosophy.
