Bella Obstetrics has delivered thousands of babies since opening in December 2014. We are Swedish hospital’s leading Obstetrics team. Our team of doctors, midwives, and nurse practitioners is honored to care for expecting mothers. We celebrate natural or medicated child birth, as we believe you are the one most qualified to choose the birth plan that’s right for you. Our job is to cheer you on and ensure a safe delivery for you and your baby.
We deliver from Swedish and Littleton hospitals.
Our obstetrics team is skilled at treating women of advanced maternal age and those considered higher risk. We offer in-house sonography and NST.
Bella is Denver’s most natural Gynecology provider. We pursue restorative medicine that addresses root cause. We avoid artificial birth control, promoting instead natural fertility regulation via evidence-based methods that work in cooperation with the body’s natural design.
We are experts in both Creighton and Marquette, offering 1:1 consultations, group classes, online learning, and marriage preparation.
Bella is proud to be a certified NaPRO TECHNOLOGIES clinic, with one of the US’s leading JPII Institute NaPRO surgeons, Dr. Kathleen Sander, leading our Women’s Health team. We offer advanced robotic surgical solutions to common causes of infertility like endometriosis. NaPRO results in better patient outcomes and lasting healing.

Although initially founded as an OB-GYN, Bella quickly became a multi-specialty group with the introduction of Family Medicine. Our OB-GYN patients insisted we provide the same dignified, life-affirming health care for every member of their families - including men, women, and children.
Today, Dr. Sarah Hodack leads our bustling family medicine team of primary care and pediatric providers partnering with patients to address chronic illness, seasonal ailments, (including what’s going around now), COVID-19, hormone balance, medical weight loss, and improved wellness. We offer Spanish Illness Resources.
Our diverse team of both male and female providers offer primary care to both men and women with a dignified and holistic approach.
Bella was Colorado’s first private primary care COVID-19 treatment center. We continue to fight the disease through testing and treatment.
Bella offers the COVID-19 vaccine for first, second, and booster vaccinations.
Dr. Dani Urcuyo leads our Functional Medicine, and wellness teams offering an integrated, holistic approach to treating chronic illness when “nothing else” has worked. Functional Med initiates complete cooperation between provider and practitioner.
Bella is proud to offer Bioidentical Hormone Replacement therapy and Medical Weight Loss care for those seeking improved wellness and lean body composition.
Pediatrics for children up to 17 years

Maybe one of the most special parts of our practice is our pediatric Bella Babies, Bella Kids, and Bella Teens primary care work.
Because we are also an OB-GYN, many of our patients have been with us since utero! We’re always amazed at how quickly our Bella Babies become Bella Kids, who become Bella Teens, and then become Bella Moms and Dads themselves.
We lean into this extensive understanding of the whole family to develop childhood medical plans that factor in comprehensive family histories.
We listen to parents’ questions and adopt a “medical partner” mindset to help you navigate the joys of growth & development milestones and the worries of childhood illness.
Parents make important decisions about their child’s health every day, starting with newborn care. This evolves into how and when to administer childhood vaccines. Bella is a VFC Center, proudly offering clean vaccines (non-fetal stem-cell tainted) throughout development whenever possible.
Although we do not offer non-medical exemptions from childhood vaccines (please utilize the State’s website), we will work with parents to space administration of injections when appropriate.
Bella is especially sensitive to our adolescent patients, recognizing the importance of the teenage years not only from a physical development standpoint, but from an emotional and psychological vantage point as well.
Bella provides group classes promoting a dignified, life-affirming approach to sexual health education.
