WHO SHOULD RECEIVE POSTPARTUM CARE?

ALL MOTHERS NEED POSTPARTUM SUPPORT. The only QUESTION is best timing.

  • Mothers who have carried their baby to term | Visits scheduled for six weeks following the birth of your baby

  • Mothers who have lost their baby to miscarriage | Please speak with your provider to schedule the visit most appropriate for your circumstance

postpartum depression

The Bella provider team, led by CMO Dr. Sarah Hodack, understands the stresses of having a new baby, as our providers are mothers themselves.

Bella adopts advanced natural techniques to regulate hormones following pregnancy - so that you can feel good and focus on your new baby.

stay ahead of POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION

Do not hesitate to request an appointment earlier than the 6-week follow up if you are experiencing postpartum depression. Please let our office know that you are calling because you’re concerned about PPD. Please also share how serious your concern (e.g. concerns about harm to self or baby should be seen same day).

Often, postpartum depression can feel more like feeling “flat” or “foggy,” rather than the traditional “sad.” Because of the enormous changes happening in your body, it is not uncommon for even women who have never experienced clinical depression before to wrestle with postpartum blues. These are the women who often wait five or six months to seek help.

There are effective treatment options, with Bella leading the way in hormone therapies as additional treatment options instead of or in addition to antidepressants.
