Get to Know Dr. Pederson

Dr. Pederson is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. She received her undergraduate degree and was a Biomedical Engineering major at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. She went to medical school at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. She then went on to do her residency in OB/GYN at UAB, the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received specialty training in high-risk pregnancy and gynecologic surgery.

Her goal is to take a wellness-focused, patient-centered approach and really listen to each patient to make sure she is coming up with the right plan to make women feel like their best, most joyful selves. She is thorough, empathetic and conscientious and is persistent in advocating for her patients. Dr. Pederson loves OB/GYN because she has the privilege of taking care of patients across the continuum of life. From helping a couple navigate infertility and a first pregnancy to helping women manage menopause, she loves being able to journey with families through the ups and downs of life. She specializes in pregnancy, infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, irregular and painful cycles, PMS, and menopause. She also specializes in surgical approaches to women's care including management of ovarian cysts, fibroids, and hysterectomies.

When she's not at work she's probably hiking with her husband and three kids, trying out a new local restaurant, or traveling in the US or internationally.
