Get to know devon nelson

Devon Nelson is a a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelors in Science of Nursing at Franciscan University of Steubenville. She began working as a nurse at University Colorado Hospital in the Cardiac unit, before she moved to Bella in August of 2016.

Devon worked with Bella for two years while she continued on her education at Regis University of Denver, where she received her Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She then began her work as a provider at Bella in November of 2019.

Devon has a passion for holistic and natural medicine. She encourages open lines of communication with other health care providers and patients for a collaborative approach to promote patient safety and optimal health. She is now our lead provider in our new Functional Medicine Practice. She is completing her certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Devon enjoys spending her free time outside, hiking and being active with her husband and her two small boys.
